Why Choose St. Mary's School?
St. Mary's is a Catholic School encompassing grades K through 6 with individualized teaching due to an excellent student/teacher ratio.
St. Mary's School is open to children of all faiths, of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students. Daily religion classes and weekly student Masses are the focal points of St. Mary's School.
We believe that God is an ever-present reality in our lives and thus we hope that our students may experience a loving attitude toward God, belief in the dignity of each person and the conviction of each one's responsibility in the development of a just and peaceful world community.
People believe in Catholic Schools because they have a proven record of academic success. Educational development and religious formation are integrated in a unified curriculum with a commitment to excellence in both areas.
Parental involvement is encouraged at St. Mary's. Parents do a variety of volunteer work during the course of the normal school day. Parents are represented by the School Advisory Council, an elected board of six. This group advises the school principal and helps establish school policy. Parents are also given a chance to offer suggestions to the school staff by means of a confidential school survey sent home with the students each spring.
After leaving St. Mary's 70% of the students are on the junior high honor roll. 60% maintain honor roll status in senior high.
